MyBees privacy notice

Last updated: 27 October 2026

MyBees is an owner-operated personal workspace. This notice describes its optional Google Calendar connection and this information website.

Calendar access

After the owner grants permission through Google, MyBees reads the calendar list so the owner can choose which calendars to display. For selected calendars, it retrieves event titles, descriptions, dates, times, time zones, locations, status and Google source links. It processes the owner's attendance response to omit declined events. This connection requests only calendar-list read access and event read access. It does not request Gmail access or permission to change Google Calendar events.

How the data is used

Calendar data is used to display the schedule, refresh it and answer the owner's schedule questions through Hexa. Relevant event information may be sent to the configured AI API provider to produce a requested response. General schedule lookups omit event descriptions; explicitly discussing an event can include its description. The current service uses OpenAI; the application also supports owner-configured Anthropic API processing.

MyBees does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop or train generalized AI models. Google Calendar content is excluded from MyBees' automatic personal-memory learning. Saved conversation text can still contain calendar information and remains in the owner's private workspace history.

MyBees' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and service providers

The private application runs on Cloudflare. Google authorization tokens are encrypted before storage in Cloudflare D1. Selected event snapshots and saved conversations are stored in the private application database. Private recovery backups may retain earlier database contents. Selected AI providers process the information sent for a response under their applicable API terms and data policies. Tokens are not sent to the AI provider.

The workspace uses owner-restricted access. The public information site has no connection to the workspace database, tokens or conversations. It contains no advertising or analytics scripts. The hosting provider may process ordinary request metadata for delivering and protecting the site.

Choice, disconnection and retention

The owner chooses which calendars are selected and can disconnect the connection in MyBees Settings or revoke it through Google Account permissions. Disconnecting immediately stops use of the stored authorization in MyBees and attempts revocation at Google. Inactive cached event snapshots are subsequently removed by background cleanup. Disconnecting does not delete original Google events, existing conversation history or historical recovery backups. No automatic backup-expiry period is currently configured. Additional removal of saved history or backups is an owner-controlled maintenance operation.

Contact and changes

The application is operated for its owner's personal use. Questions about access or this notice can be directed to the support email displayed on the Google consent screen. Changes to these practices will be reflected in an updated notice.
